Your journey. Your choice. We’re here for you.

Parent and Carer Advocacy

We support parents and carers to understand and navigate the often-complex world of Alternative Provision. Wherever you are in the process, you do not have to work it out on your own.

Support may include

  • Exploring suitable education options
  • Understanding Alternative Provision pathways
  • Preparing for meetings with schools, providers or Local Authorities
  • Helping families communicate their child's needs
  • Reviewing information and available provision
  • Supporting families to ask the right questions
  • Signposting to relevant services and specialist support

Free Support and Advice Helpline

Our free helpline is here for families navigating education systems, Alternative Provision or Elective Home Education. We also offer meeting and paperwork support and an independent advocacy service.

Many families come to us at a difficult moment, and often without having had much of a choice. There is no judgement here, just practical help.
